From intention to defense: The main steps

Step 1 : Obtain authorization to register for the HDR Diploma from the HDR Committee of the Doctoral School

Step 2 : Once the authorization has been obtained (valid for 2 years): preparation of the dissertation.
Allow 2 month between sending the manuscript to the reviewers and the defense.

Step 3 : Registration at the UGA

Step 4 : Validation of the defense jury by the UGA. Sending of the manuscript to the reviewers.
Expertise of the dissertation by the rapporteurs

Step 5 : Defense authorization and defense
